E20 - Is it possible to measure the average amount of material that came out of the canyon wall during a landslide therefore knowing how . . .

much the canyon grew?
Comments:
Last week we got together and looked at what we had.
One person was missing that we believe did the work,
and another did absolutely nothing.
We tried to think of a better question than what we had.
So far we can't think of anything else.
 
Our original questions:

How did Vallis Merineris get so big?
How long ago were these canyons formed?
 
Well, with your first question you could do something with how the canyon walls expand. I'm thinking about something like landslides . . .
