E26 - "Is it possible to tell if a channel was created by a glacier or liquid water?"

I really like your first question. What would you look for in the floor or sides of the channel to separate a water source from a volcanic source?
I've taken the liberty of changing your question just a tad to "Is it possible to tell if a channel was created by a glacier or liquid water?" That will give you just a bit more direction. Your only going to be looking at one channel, not all of them. Your question should focus on only one. Focus your research on physical characteristics of river valleys and glacial valleys as seen by satellite images. Try and find images that have the same resolution as Odyssey. Concentrate on desert river channeos because your features on Mars won't have any water.
In the same resolution as an Odyssey image I assume. Try to find glacier valleys and river valleys in the same resolution.
That's your decision. Just make sure that if the person is up there they have something to do. They should be "just another pretty face!"
