E2 - what proof is there that Mars atmosphere was thick enough to create features?

Comments:
Tough question! How are you going to answer that in a photograph?

On Friday we discussed our topic and decided to change our question. Our new question is: what proof is there that Mars atmosphere was thick enough to create features? After discussing our topic we worked on our sections for our background report.

That's a tad too vague. How about something like "What features prove that Mars had a thicker atmosphere at one time?" This will still require some work. You need to find out features that are specifically wind driven, such as sand dunes, and could only be caused by a large amount of atmosphere.

Never say final. You were talking about sand dunes and ripples today. Your question might take a whole different direction as you start to find out more about these features. Keep an open mind.

Sounds good.

Sounds good! Be sure to go the MER site and read the LONG article on sand on that page.
