E21 - "Did liquid water ever exist in the Northern rim of Vallis Marineris(closest to equator)Are there any dedritic stream patterns to hint to this.?

I like the first question! What evidence would you look for to see if life did exist there? Be sure to go to the MER sites, and especially take a look at Opportunity. Also check out NASA's astrobiology site.

I changed one word in your question. I don't know where the northern tip of the valley is, so I changed it to "rim."

Your experiment needs a huge amount of work, but it's a start. What happened to looking for dendritic stream patterns. Remember the question of scal ehere. Your going to have a devil of a time finding smooth rocks.
